
Marcus Rashford has stated that he is ‘working hard’ to return ‘as soon as possible’ after Manchester United announced that the forward will miss the next few games due to a groin injury..
The England forward left United’s 2-0 victory over Everton on Saturday after injuring his groin while stretching for a through ball.
Rashford immediately signaled to the bench to leave, indicating that the injury was serious.
Scan results revealed Rashford had strained his groin, and while United refused to put a timetable on his absence, they did say he would miss the “next few games.”
United have a busy season ahead of them, with Erik ten Hag’s side competing in the Premier League, Europa League, and FA Cup over the next few weeks.
Rashford has 28 goals this season, and his absence will be devastating to United’s chances of adding to their trophy cabinet before the season ends.
But Rashford has sent a hopeful message to fans by saying he’s ‘working hard’ with the club’s physio to return’soon.

Rashford responded to United’s tweet about his injury by saying, ‘I’m working hard with the physio to get back asap!’
‘I’ll see you soon.’
United host Sevilla in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals tonight at Old Trafford.
Anthony Martial will make his first appearance since returning from injury.
The front three could be Antony, Martial, and Jadon Sancho, with Wout Weghorst also in the mix..
