Erik ten Hag’s team will play Cadiz and Real Betis next week in preparation for the Premier League’s return after the World Cup.
Sancho missed four games prior to the mid-season World Cup break due to an unspecified illness, and the club confirmed in a statement released on Sunday that the forward is participating in an individual training program:
“Jadon Sancho is continuing his individual training program as part of a process to return to his peak performance.” The club is completely behind him in this.”
The former Borussia Dortmund<del datetime=”2022-12-04T12:40:02+00:00″> player was left out of Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad this winter after falling out of favor with the Three Lions coach in recent years.
Man United have confirmed that full-backs Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams are fit enough to travel to Spain, stating: “Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams were both welcome inclusions in the squad as they work their way back to fitness.”
Following friendlies against Cadiz and Real Betis, the Red Devils will begin their domestic campaign with a Carabao Cup match against Burnley on December 21st..
