In his post-match news conference following Liverpool’s 3-0 loss to Wolves, Jürgen Klopp rejected a question from a certain reporter.
Whether the team’s shaky start to games was a mentality issue was a question James Pearce, a Liverpool correspondent for The Athletic, posed.
If I’m completely honest, it’s incredibly challenging to talk to you, Klopp said. You see why, given everything you wrote: “I would prefer not to do it.”
Then, if anyone else in the press conference had a question they would like addressed, the manager of Liverpool invited them to do so. Following its third straight league road loss, Liverpool is now ranked 10th in the Premier League.
