
Jurgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool, has revealed why he left Borussia Dortmund at the end of the 2014/15 season before moving to the Premier League..
The German coach made a name for himself with the Bundesliga club, winning everything that could be won in Germany and even leading Dortmund to the Champions League final, where they were defeated by Bayern Munich.
The 2014/15 season was a difficult one for Borussia Dortmund and Klopp, as they spent much of it in the bottom half of the table.
The team eventually finished seventh, but Klopp decided to leave the club before the end of his contract, and the current Liverpool manager has now revealed why..

Klopp spoke to German news outlet WDR about his time at Borussia Dortmund and eventually revealed why he left.
“I can still remember the reason for the timing back then – Thomas Tuchel was about to go to HSV [Hamburg],” Klopp said via 90min.
“‘Wait a second! Tuchel is transferring to HSV? Then we need to get it out there right away!’ That’s why it was a little earlier than expected.”
Dortmund eventually got their man, and Tuchel took over for Klopp for the 2015/16 season, while the latter moved to Merseyside to take over at Liverpool.
Both have gone on to have tremendous success since, with both obtaining a champions league medal..
