Jadon Sancho's Message To Paul Pogba Hints At What The Manchester United Players Think Of Him

Following a nightmare start to his latest stint in Turin, Paul Pogba made his second Juventus debut on Tuesday night..

The France international spent four years with the Italian giants before returning to Manchester United, but he was enticed back to Juventus in the summer after his contract at Old Trafford expired.

Pogba was a divisive figure during his second stint at United, and he left the club in disgrace after failing to make an impact during his six-year return to the Premier League. However, if Jadon Sancho’s message of support is any indication, there doesn’t appear to be any bad blood between the 29-year-old and his former United teammates..

The Manchester United winger reacted on social media as Pogba returned from his lengthy absence, posting to his Instagram story with the caption “PP is back!” and a heart emoji.

Marcus Rashford also expressed his support for Pogba on the same platform after the playmaker made his first appearance in over 300 days in Juventus’ thrilling 4-2 Serie A win over Torino.

Pogba last appeared in a competitive match in April, when Manchester United lost 4-0 to Liverpool. A meniscus injury that he picked up in pre-season required surgery which had prevented him from featuring for Massimiliano Allegri’s side until now..

When asked about Pogba’s return a fortnight ago, Allegri was frustrated because he couldn’t give a timetable, but he was much happier after the midfielder came through a 20-minute cameo appearance unscathed.

Allegri said of Pogba following the win over Torino: “He came in strong, playing 25 minutes after going a year without playing. Everyone did well in the competition; however, in order to achieve results, everyone must be available to their teammates.

Tonight, we finished with [Adrien] Rabiot in front of the defense and Pogba on the left side of the midfield. However, there are numerous matches, substitutions are essential, and everyone must feel involved.”

Adrien Rabiot, a former Manchester United target, scored as Allegri’s side ran riot against their Serie A rivals after falling behind twice. Former Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado, Danilo, and Gleison Bremer had all scored before Rabiot scored in the 80th minute..

Despite a positive result, Juventus remains a long way from the top of Serie A. Allegri’s side trail Inter Milan by 12 points, who are joint-second on 47 points, and Napoli by a whopping 30 points.
