If Napoli maintains their impressive form, Massimiliano Allegri believes “nobody will have the opportunity” to catch them.
Luciano Spalletti’s side defeated Empoli 2-0 on Tuesday, moving eight points clear of reigning champions Milan at the top of the table.
Allegri’s Juventus have won four consecutive Serie A games, but their head coach believes that will pale into insignificance if Napoli continues their incredible run.
“Napoli are having an extraordinary championship,” Allegri said ahead of Juve’s match against Hellas Verona on Thursday.
Nobody will be able to get any closer if they continue in this manner.

Despite winning their last four league games, Juventus is still 13 points behind Napoli in fifth place, having won nine titles in a row between 2011-12 and 2019-20.
