Christian Eriksen of Manchester United was seen leaving Old Trafford on crutches after being injured in the Reds’ FA Cup fourth round win over Reading on Saturday night..
Erik ten Hag’s side advanced to the next round of the competition with a 3-1 win over the Championship outfit, with Casemiro (2) and Fred scoring for the home side. It was another successful night for the Reds, who remain the only team in England competing on all four fronts.
Eriksen, on the other hand, was forced off with an ankle injury in the second half on Saturday night..
The 30-year-old was injured by a strong tackle from Reading striker Andy Carroll and replaced by Fred.
Eriksen left Old Trafford on crutches and wearing a protective boot after the game. It is unclear how long the midfielder will be out, but he will undoubtedly be missed after impressing since his summer arrival..

When asked to provide an injury update on the former Tottenham man, Ten Hag said: “It is always difficult to say so short after the game finished. But it’s an ankle injury, so we’ll have to wait and see what the doctor says..
Eriksen has only missed one match in all competitions this season, missing the goalless draw against Newcastle..
He has two goals and nine assists this season.
