Eriksen, on the other hand, was forced off with an ankle injury in the second half on Saturday night..
The 30-year-old was injured by a strong tackle from Reading striker Andy Carroll and replaced by Fred.
Eriksen left Old Trafford on crutches and wearing a protective boot after the game. It is unclear how long the midfielder will be out, but he will undoubtedly be missed after impressing since his summer arrival..

When asked to provide an injury update on the former Tottenham man, Ten Hag said: “It is always difficult to say so short after the game finished. But it’s an ankle injury, so we’ll have to wait and see what the doctor says..
