The Sun reports that Sterling’s fiancee Paige Milian was at home with their two children when robbers stole £300,000 worth of watches.

Sterling is said to be shaken and worried about his children’s well-being, and he has returned to the United Kingdom to be with his family.

England manager Gareth Southgate commented on the situation, saying, “He is dealing with a family matter..

I spent a lot of time with him this morning, but I had to delegate some of his responsibilities to others.

“He’ll handle that matter, and we’ll have to take it from there.”

He could rejoin the England squad in Qatar before Saturday’s quarter-final against France, but only if the circumstances are favorable..
